Pouch rendering needs a plausible relationship between contents, flexible material and seams. Supply the chosen pouch dimensions, construction and representative filled references. A perfectly smooth inflated shape may misrepresent a pack that naturally creases and settles.
Describe fill and standing behaviour
For a hypothetical powder pouch, show how the base expands and where the front bends at typical fill. Do not make it appear overfilled simply to stretch the graphics. Use the supplier template to locate seams, zipper and other visible features.
Keep folds from becoming random decoration
Fold direction and tension should support the construction. Ask for a plain model review before applying artwork. Too many dramatic creases can obscure the label; too few may make the pouch look rigid. Compare the silhouette with representative photographs, not only other CGI.
Check artwork across the surface
Review the product name and variant where they sit on the curved face. If the real design wraps around a gusset, do not flatten it solely for the hero view.
Studio perspective
The studio recommendation is an honest, readable pack shape rather than a perfect front panel disconnected from production.
Practical review checklist
- Filled references
- Seam and zipper locations
- Plain geometry review
- Artwork distortion check

Frequently asked questions
Can one pouch model cover all products?
Only where dimensions, construction and fill behaviour genuinely match.
Should every crease be copied exactly?
Capture the representative construction and behaviour, not accidental damage.
Does CGI replace physical packaging testing?
No. It supports visualisation only.
