A clear idea, brought to life with purpose.

02

About the project

Superfood protein bar packaging design for Picchu by Tony Musso, using Machu Picchu, llamas, warm colour and bold type to express the brand's Peruvian roots.

03

The design response

Picchu needed a superfood protein bar packaging design that could connect healthy snack products with the founder's Peruvian roots. Machu Picchu and llama illustrations create a recognisable story, while warm, vibrant colours reflect the South American landscape. Bold typography keeps the brand and product information clear against the detailed artwork. The repeated composition gives each bar a shared identity and leaves room for flavour variation across the range.

Built to stand out. Structured to stay clear.

  1. 01

    Distinctive identity

Build a recognisable visual idea that gives the project its own clear point of view.

  2. 02

    Clear communication

Organise the message so the audience can understand the product quickly and confidently.

  3. 03

    Designed for context

Create a flexible system that stays coherent wherever the brand needs to appear.

A distinctive idea designed to work everywhere.

Peruvian heritage drives the creative direction without turning the pack into a souvenir. Machu Picchu provides an immediate sense of place, while llamas add warmth and a spirit of adventure. The illustrated landscape creates a narrative around the founder's background and the superfoods that inspired the product range.

The superfood protein bar packaging design balances this illustration with bold, legible typography and a controlled information hierarchy. Warm colours drawn from the Peruvian landscape give the range energy, while a consistent composition keeps the brand recognisable across flavours. Branding, packaging and 3D rendering work together to present Picchu as a coherent food range rather than a collection of isolated packs.
