Picchu Bar Packaging Design for Superfood Products

Picchu Bar's founder, inspired by his upbringing in Peru and travels across South America, set out to create unique, healthy products using the superfoods he discovered along the way. His deep connection to hospitality and low-income communities fueled his passion for promoting natural products, and after years of research and development, his vision became a reality. Grateful for the journey, he aimed to share the benefits of natural superfoods with the world.

Design Methodology:
To bring Picchu Bar’s vision to life, I combined elements of Peruvian culture with modern design principles. The iconic Machu Picchu serves as the focal point of the packaging, symbolizing Peru’s rich history and heritage. The inclusion of llamas adds a playful, adventurous touch, alluding to the journey through the ancient ruins. This blend of cultural and modern elements was key to creating a design that would resonate with consumers.

Colour Scheme and Imagery:
The vibrant and warm color palette was inspired by the natural beauty of the Peruvian landscape. This choice of colors gives the packaging an inviting and energetic feel, ensuring it captures attention. The illustration of Machu Picchu and the llamas is prominently displayed on the front of the packaging, drawing immediate attention and making the product memorable on the shelf.

Typography and Branding:
The bold and legible typography ensures the brand message is clear and stands out. This design not only communicates the essence of the brand but also emphasizes its connection to Peruvian culture.
