About the project

Peanut butter packaging design for Seriously Nutty combines editorial typography, a winking peanut character and a flexible jar identity for future variants.

03

The design response

The design turns the jar into a compact piece of editorial packaging. Tall condensed type establishes category clarity, a warm cream label contrasts with the peanut butter, and the winking mascot adds a memorable asset without crowding the information.

Variant names, colour accents and character expressions could change across crunchy, dark roast or flavoured recipes while the core architecture remains consistent. Renders highlight paper, glass and lid details, and scenes show how the pack can anchor campaign imagery.

Built to stand out. Structured to stay clear.

  1. 01

    Distinctive identity

Build a recognisable visual idea that gives the project its own clear point of view.

  2. 02

    Clear communication

Organise the message so the audience can understand the product quickly and confidently.

  3. 03

    Designed for context

Create a flexible system that stays coherent wherever the brand needs to appear.

A distinctive idea designed to work everywhere.

Editorial structure gives the jar authority, while a simple character gives it warmth.

A tall condensed display face makes PEANUT BUTTER immediately legible. The cream paper field and generous spacing create a modern base, while the winking peanut softens the formality and supplies an asset that could extend into secondary packaging, social content and point of sale.

Deep chocolate brown, burnt red, mustard and a controlled cobalt accent form a sophisticated food palette. Paper grain, embossed lines and a sculptural dark lid add tactile value, while large shapes and clear variant markers remain readable at thumbnail size.

Hard studio light and architectural shadows reinforce the premium presentation without hiding the peanut butter itself, keeping the product visible and appetising.
