A clear idea, brought to life with purpose.

02

About the project

Popcorn packaging design for POP DROP combines bold typography, playful illustration and a clear flexible-pouch hierarchy in a self-initiated concept by Tony Musso.

03

The design response

The system gives POP DROP a recognisable silhouette through oversized black lettering, a central label field and an offbeat popcorn-headed character. The pouch remains easy to shop because product and flavour details follow a disciplined hierarchy.

Bubblegum pink, hot orange and restrained cream, green and lilac accents create shelf impact. Repeatable colour blocks and information zones could support future flavours, while realistic packshots and editorial scenes show the design across e-commerce, retailer and social contexts.

Built to stand out. Structured to stay clear.

  1. 01

    Distinctive identity

Build a recognisable visual idea that gives the project its own clear point of view.

  2. 02

    Clear communication

Organise the message so the audience can understand the product quickly and confidently.

  3. 03

    Designed for context

Create a flexible system that stays coherent wherever the brand needs to appear.

A distinctive idea designed to work everywhere.

A loud name is controlled by a disciplined layout.

The short, rhythmic name becomes the main shelf asset. Oversized lettering is stacked for impact, while an asymmetric grid organises supporting information so the pouch feels playful, edited and premium. The popcorn-headed character adds movement without competing with the product and flavour descriptors.

Bubblegum pink and hot orange provide the visual hit, balanced by cream, green and lilac accents. Hard light, crisp shadows and generous negative space extend that graphic energy into contemporary editorial product photography rather than a generic supermarket mockup.
